- 27 years of Civil war

- I see Armed-men everywhere!
- They cut down my family tree
- And filled the gaps with hatred & violence
- They marched back and forth
- I tried to hide myself
- But they came out with vengeance
- I was trapped inside a box
- I tried to run away
- But they followed & captured me back in
- And locked me up

- Wow, Colombo, i like the way you flow
- But i have to think twice
- Do i run back home?
- Cuz i see people die slow
- While the world sits back, like there’s  no other go

- I know you see me
- Why do you turn away?
- Its time you fought back
- Oh God, please fight them or please give me your power so that I can act fast to make the change!

- We are the ones who build the society
- Lets pull ourselves together
- And protect the ones in need

- do not let the noise, put you down
- Put your heads up
- And fight till you make the change

- Cuz one day , the light will come to reveal the truth

- I am finally safe and free
- but what about the rest?

INDIAN DUBSTEP has reached a lot of people than i expected, in a short period of time!
GERARDAM gave me a small sum, as a token of appreciation for the good work!

Before i could work on my next music video i decided to do a small dedication.... i saw pictures and videos of how the innocent Srilankans were brutally killed...i decided to use that money to produce and dedicate a "very small/short dance video" for the departed souls!

1) Prem gopal :
( and

Prem who is a Srilankan Tamil  himself, experienced bitter memories as a childhood.
He is an excellent dancer & human being.
You can watch him perform for Eelam Tamil :

When i requested him to perform for my Music video, he willing accepted without any hesitation.
Thnx Prem.

2) Sundeep :

1) Vineed :
Thnx to Vineed. He gave me the inspiration & drive to come up with the lyrics.

2) Santhosh CHRiS :

I have planned on making my next music video!
And this time it is going to be a complete dance is duad - me and my brother Joshua Gerard, will be performing.

The dance is a combination of tutting, liquid, robotic and indian fission styles of dance.

I liked DUBSTEP the moment i listened to it because, it suited very well with the style of dance that i am most comfortable with!
Therefore i decided to compose an Indian version of DUBSTEP.
I used Fl studio 10 to compose the song!

Myself, Jesly (Cameraman) and my brother Joshua, were there in the studio shooting this video.
We went to the studio around 7pm...but there was a delay caused by the previous group who had occupied the studio and we had to start the shoot only at 12 early morning.

This time i decided to hire a bigger studio and it was worth it!
Suresh (who owns the studio) was kind enough to extend the duration inorder to compensate the delay!
The shoot got over around 8 am.

"Instead of having a complete dance video, i decided to do something, that i like the most, i.e a combination of gimmicks and miming!

The video was shot using Canon 550d and Sony HD handy-cam.
Special thanks to Jesly ( for staying up all night and shooting the video.
Thnx to my brother Joshua ( , who danced and helped me choreograph the music video.
Thanks to Bibiana for the Makeup and hairstyling.

Take it!

Me and my friend Manoj were messing around with some beats and came up with this song.
It took only 10 min to compose the song...i then came up with some random words for the sake of completing the song. The words sound silly :

Sapitena Na
Sapitiya Ne?
Take it.

Meaning : I have had my meal/supper...but did you have yours? if not then... TAKE IT!

Coupla weeks later it was time for Christmas and New year.
Each time when we celebrate these occasions; there is a lot of food prepared than needed and money is spent lavishly!
There are kids who dont have the chance/opportunity to celebrate!

I decided to do a video based on the lyrics for the underprivileged children!

Special Thanks to :

Jesly Anto (Cameraman/dance/acting)
Bibiana Gerard (Coordinator)
Joshua Gerard (Coordinator/dance)
Prema (Coordinator)
Manoj Kumar (Support)
Mother Tresa Institute
All the kids who participated

Thankyou to all those who have been sharing, commenting and encouraging me!

Kolaveri Johnna

Kolaveri di song from the Tamil movie 3, has gone global and viral.
Initially i hated the song (even now i but later the song kept ringing in my mind.

The fact that the song, help spread Tamil culture/cinema/language all over the world, makes me feel proud.
The people all over the world are starting to recognize not only the South, but the North and the whole of India.

This inspired me to do this video.

It hardly took 15 min for me to come up with a unique way of visualizing and choreographing the song.

I later put all my ideas into a script form and decided to shoot the next day itself.

I called up Jesly Anto (a friend of mine) to help me film the video.
He was kind enough to pick me up to the Studio , do the make up, costume, handled the lights and the camera.

During the shoot we did not have the audio and so we had to manage using the script that i had prepared earlier.
Apart from the 3 characters which i performed in the video (Iyer, Mime and Dancer), i also had two other characters in the script...but due to time constrain (only 4 hrs for the studio) i had to chuck them and modified the script on the spot!

I donot know the name of the studio, but it belongs to Suresh (Actor Raguvaran's brother).
He was kind enough to consider the cost for the Studio...thanx to him!
They have 3 lovely studios, each one with diffrent sizes!
You can contact him if you need one : Suresh - 9841091036

After filming, i immediately edited the footage.
I did not want to upload the video initially (cuz i had become an artist/comedian/entertainer : making a fool of oneself for entertaining / for the pleasure of other/viewers).
I was ill for about a week and i still did not upload the video.
Finally because of the hard work of Jesly and the involvement of family (they provided the props, costume and makeup), i decided to upload.

Btw, i did not have a Dhothi, i had to borrow it from my father.
Turns out that my father did not have one either, except for the that belongs to my Grand father (Vincent Gerard) grand father wore it for his!
And that is the one in the video!

Anyways am glad that i did upload!
Thankyou to all those who have been sharing, commenting and encouraging me!
